Christmas time is almost here, I guess I best get off my rear. To organize would be quite smart, It’s just I don't know where to start! I should have bought my gifts last year, At clearance sales far and near. There's really people who do that, To them I bow and tip my hat. The odds I'd think that far ahead, Are up there with a kid-made bed. My decorations should be neat, Instead they’re in the boxes heaped. My husband swears at lights a-tangle, I fear the living tree he’ll strangle. Starting early should be fun, Instead one finds more stuff needs done! My perfect friend gives me advice, “A manger scene in ice is nice” You have more thoughts for me my dear? Me too - YOU do it all next year!
