Coping You ever get to feelin'
You'd like to curl up in a ball, Forget the world, ignore the dealin', And not come out at all? When things get tough, when life gets grim, I think of doing that, Crawl back in bed, 'neath cover's hem, And hide behind my cat. And let it go, beyond my cot, This wearisome toil and strife, And want it not and heed it not, This crazy thing called life. For just today might be enough, To sort my muddled mind, Then on to deal with folks and stuff, Again some reason find. I'm not alone, I'm sure of that, Who seeks out ways to cope, Perhaps it's you, for sure my cat, At times at end of rope.
