This quote is by Winston Churchill, "Never has so much been owed by so many to so few."

This quote can be applied to all the people that sacrificed for mankind's liberty.

Veteran's Day, is called Remembrance Day in Canada. It is a time for us to reflect all the sacrifices freely given for our liberty. In Canada all business, schools and government offices are closed to give honor to all those who fought or gave their lives. On November 11th, at 11am we have a two minutes silence. Most people wear a poppy in honor of our veterans. Lest we forget.

Lest We Forget

In honor of the people
Who fought in the war
Veterans day is set aside
For us to salute with pride
All who lived and died
So we could be free

Many in the prime of life
Sacrifice to go and fight
For mankind to be free
Throughout most of the world
These people so brave
Will always be remembered

In honor to all the fallen veterans.
