When We Kneel To Pray
Do we recall the little things That often come our way Do we stop to think on these When we kneel to pray? A stranger smiles as we go by Or someone gives a wave Are these memories that we save For when we kneel to pray? A little child looks at us And asks if we'd like to play Do we forget this little lad When we kneel to pray? A call from a friend saying “ I am thinking of you today” Do we remember to thank God When we kneel to pray? Time is drawing near It will be Thanksgiving Day Will we recall the little things When we kneel to pray? It’s nice and proper too To thank God for His giving ways But don’t forget the little things When we kneel to pray.
