A kitten takes a tiny swipe, With paw at ornament so bright. The dog sits back and cocks an ear, Wondering what will happen here. The kitten baps again you see, And now here comes the whole darn tree. The human runs to check the clatter, The dog lays down, it doesn't matter. He knows the blame will fall on him. Blame the kitten? Odds are slim. For when the tree did start to fall? The kitten took off down the hall.
