A soft nicker in the morning dawn,
A warm nose and breath of welcome, Offered in curiosity of the moment, In a reminder to be with this creature in the now. The sight of a flock of geese in formation, Mate at side and beautiful in flight, Offered in Mother Nature's beauty, In a reminder to be with these creatures in the now. The welcoming outstretched branches of an ancient Oak, Standing tall in the afternoon sun, Offered in harmony as a refuge, In a reminder to be with the earth in the now. When I stop in my rush to be, When I remember what is important, When I remember who and what I truly am, These are the things that bring me peace.
