A HairRaising Family Thanksgiving Letter

Dear Family and Friends,

I know it's not Christmas yet, and you're surprised by this Thanksgiving card and letter, but we're just so full of pride and joy that we couldn't wait another month to share our good news! As is obvious by the family portrait on our card, I finally graduated (with honors I might add) from Sherilynn's School of Hair and Beauty! Well, all right, truth be known my "honor" was to have been voted "Most Likely to Improve", but hey, that acknowledgment from my two other classmates sure meant a lot to me!

I had such fun getting myself, Zack and Missy ready for our family portrait. I could tell the photographer was so impressed with how well I matched our hairstyles. He kept asking me who did our hair! Such a nice man too, he was smiling and laughing through the whole photo shoot!

I need to keep this short because Missy has an appointment with the "Little Miss" Pageant coordinator for our Region this afternoon, and I need to get her ready. I'm thinking something with corn rows, gummy bears, glitter and ribbon. And Zack is so sweet; when he left for work this morning he insisted on wearing his hunting hat? When I asked him why, he said he didn't want the guys at work to see what a fantastic job I do - he's afraid they'll all be knocking on our front door wanting me to make them just as gorgeous too!

Well I told him, and I'm passing the news on now to all of you, that not to worry. In a few short weeks I'll have that outside shed completely cleaned out, de-bugged and ready to roll as the new home of "Gee-Whiz Hair by Cindy-Lu"! Don't you just love that name I picked?! I decided on that because people have been so impressed every time they see us that the first words out of their mouths is this real enthusiastic "Gee Whiz!"

So Happy Thanksgiving to your and yours. Remember, "a day without hairspray is a day that will fly away!" (don't you just LOVE that? It was our motto at hair school and I think it's a good one to live your life by don't you?!)
