The Nature of Darkness
Inspired by the film `Dracula' with Gary Oldman and Winona Ryder.

Hidden in darkness, it stalks...
Depraved, starving in its eternity.
Hungry, fading and weak.. its decaying body only strong in its need for survival.

IT, in the darkness spies a bright glimmer and, hungrier still wants to loom over the light until all is blotted out but its own dead soul.

Or, if in that depraved, tortured soul a spark of humanity remains...
A monster can hope and try...
Can hope just to ache from a distance without harming it's desire.

But when the nature of the beast gives way and devours all light, there can be only the tragic ending and the beast will live and hope for death as the world decays around it.
