A Pity Party I am going to have a pity party I planned to invite two or three But then on second thought, no As It would take away from me. I want to wallow in my sorrow Take great pleasure in my woes Agonize over my afflictions Moan about life’s blows. I’ll cry over my hardships Fret and worry about my bills Pine over my heartaches Grieve about life’s ills. I‘m glad I had a pity party Sitting, here, at home alone It was great no one was with me To listen to me moan and groan. Now sometimes such a party Can clear my mind and soul And let me count my blessings While through this life I stroll. Click on the bear to share your story behind your pen name.
