Words
Spoken words are oft cast aside Of little value so they say A worthless waste of energy That piddles your time away But words that are fitly spoken Have power to mold and shape To take you to a distant star And provide the great escape They can lift the soul to new heights Empower the weak to achieve But also bring down the mighty And cause the soul to grieve A powerful ally to seek Use care as you toss them around For they slip out so easily But are bitter going back down
