Who Is Megan Rose?

Hi! I am Princess Megan Rose. I'm not a real Princess but my husband treats me like one. I live in Indiana with my husband Ray and we live by corn fields in a ranch house. I nicknamed our house and farm acres "Green Acres." I have a son,Jason who's 29 and married and lives close by. I'm a grandmother to a ferret, 4 cats and a dog.

I work at a nursing job in a mental health facilty. I used to sell Avon for 8 years. I used to do ceramics but now I'm into rubber stamping and scrapbooking when I get a chance.

I collect dolls, teddy bears, snowbabies, beanie babies, Barbie Dolls and other types of dolls such as porcelain type dolls and American Girl related items. I have the Samantha Parker American Girl Doll and a designer doll by Rusty. I also have a porcelian Princess Diana Doll and Cinderella porcelain type dolls. I also collect tea pots and tea cups.

I love Nascar Racing. My favorite drivers are: Kasey Kane, Carl Edwards and Ryan Newman.

I love to shop. I love Clifford the Big Red Dog, Garfield, Winnie the Pooh characters especialy Eeyore.

I love lighthouses, the ocean, wolves and all animals. I love to watch Days Of Our Lives and Young and the Restless. I watch Desperate Housewives, Survivor and Vegas.

My favorite movies are: The Twilight Movies, Mamma Mia, Valentines Day, Titanic, Gone with The Wind, The Perfect Storm, all three movies of Pirates of the Carribbean, Lord of the Ring series and Pretty in Pink.

My favorite actors are: Leonardo Decaprio, Johnny Depp, Keanau Reeves and Sean Connery.

My favorite actresses are: Kate Winslet, Linda Evans and Julia Roberts.

My favorite singers are Glen Campbell, Alice Cooper, Bon Jovi, The Moody Blues, The Beatles, George Strait,Alan Jackson, Reba McEntire, Johnny Cash and Celine Dion.

I'm a writer here at Writing.I write short stories, poems, items about women and what ever happens to enter my mind. I have an Associates of Arts Degree towards Journalism, a Free Lance Writing certificate and a Short Story Writing Certificate. I have a short story The Governess and The Wolf published in Grand Reflections magazine. I was recently nominated for Who's Who In America. I have my own newsletter Flair For Writing which is in my port and I am the Editor and Angel is the Assistant Editor. Angel is my best friend and meet my other friends: HOOVES Tornado Day close friend Feather Duster .

I have two published books. PASSAGE TO ROMANCE and PRINCESS OF SCRUPLES. The first one is about Time Travel of a woman of the present day who goes back to the past after being abducted by pirates and is left at a Lord's house and they fall in love. The woman wants to go back to the present and yet she worries about leaving her lover and she is afraid that he will leave her for his ex-mistress. The Princess one? The Princess is half gypsy and she tries to keep her family together and she is half gypsy. Things get complicated after her gypsy family shows up, her fights with her step mother, an evil twin sister who seduces her husband and a good sister who tries to keep peace while the main character wants to rule the kingdom with an iron hand and be loving at the same time. Danielle Steel, Stephanie Meyer, Jane Austen and Nora Roberts are my favorite authors. They inspire me to write romance and their books keep me glued to the pages for hours. I hope someday to write like them.

I believe in God and Jesus. Christmas is my favorite holiday and I always remember Jesus is the reason for the season.
