Crimson
We argue about the silliest things ...

Crimson

We watched the sun go down
behind the highest peak
and argued about
the color of the sky -

I said crimson,
you said purplish-red,
and there was no way
I could convince you that
that's what crimson was.

So I kissed your wine stained lips
that were the same color as the sky

and you said
"You win."
