There once was a chef who decided,
To make cookies on which she quite prided. They had won some awards, And were sold out of stores, And her friends were all really excited. Every Christmas they knew they'd be coming. Bake their own? That's a thought they'd be thumbing. For this chef was renowned, Throughout all the town, For cookies that made one start humming. There was only one problem this year, As the cookies were delivered with cheer. One small bite brought a frown, A cry for water came down, Seems the cookies brought eaters to tears. Guess the chef had mistakenly grabbed, Cayenne pepper from the spice rack she had. Now her cookies were hot, But in a way that was not. As she'd originally, actually planned.
