La Leçon de Français
by Vivian Gilbert Zabel

For the past four months we've been learning some French vocabulary. Now let's see if we can use what we've learned to find what the following sentences mean.

1. L'hôtel est grand.

2. La classe est intelligente.

3. Le professeur est excellent.

4. La poule est stupide.

5. Le docteur est américain.

6. L'artiste est populaire.

7. La leçon est importante.

8. La famille est riche.

9. L'appartement est confortable.

10. Le sandwich est grillé.

(indent} Next month we'll see if you can do another ten sentences. The English translation for these sentences will be given next time.

         Au revoir, mes amis.
