Wounds

Some say time heals all wounds.

I say it’s not true,
Time heals most wounds,
but some are just to deep.

I feel in life,
that people will do wrong towards you,
even the ones you love.

When this occurs,
we feel we need time,
but in our hearts,
we know forgiving is the key.

You may think,
why forgive,
if the hurt was to great,
or why forget,
when they will do it again.

Some of us mean it,
and will change our evil ways,
because love is the motivation.

Love is the strongest feeling,
one could have,
and for no reason,
should anyone give up on love.

If jealousy is inside you,
your heart and soul will guide you,
If hate is in your mind,
your heart will do its time.

If love is in your eyes,
it will make you realize,
If anger takes its toll,
it will bring you down,
and make you fold.

This is why,
forgiving is the key,
a start for healing,
even the most,
deepest wounds.
