New Prompt: Write a "Dodoitsu" about a silver star in the sky. Maximum 3 stanzas
Silver Star, you call to me, Beckoning me with your light, Mesmerised, I come to you, Guided through the night. I raise my hand to grasp you, And to bring you close to me, My shining little beacon, On a darkened sea. And now that I have held you, What I thought my lucky star, Back in the sky I place you, Where you're never far. One of the Writer's Cramp winners for 12/19/03
