No judgment in their gentle eyes
As long as you are just and wise. Lifelong friend and soulful mate, Should you choose that route to take. They'll teach you how to guide with love, To value vast blue sky above. They live each moment, teach the same; A life with feel becomes your aim. Pay attention, soon you'll find, You've become more patient, focused, kind. The horse as a teacher, companion and friend Or a tool to be used, it's your choice in the end. As the sun starts to set and you ponder your course, After spending a day with this friend called your horse, Reflect that we all go one day, don't know how. Give em' one more good skritch, and appreciate now.
