I try to sleep,
this very night. But find no ones there, To hold me tight. I wish my love, could lie in my arms. But the demon inside her, Took her heart. I pray at night, For GOD to help. And rid that demon, Back to hell. In my mind, It’s all my fault. Cause the demon I gave my soul to, Took more than I thought. He did what any demon, Would think to do. He went inside me, And then inside you. I try to tell you, But you just fight. Tell the demon it’s time, To say good bye. Tell it love, Will send you back. And you’ll see that demon, Never look back. When it’s gone, You will see. The nights go by, And you’ll be with me. As we move forward, I guarantee. That the demon, Is no longer inside you or me. Donald Smith
