A sunset off a picture postcard Illuminating a note of satisfaction Upon two separate hearts so totally different Seeing it with two different minds To one, it takes the breath away A promise of romance and peace To the other, it's just a nice card and only costs fifty cents To one an escape from madness To tranquility seldom felt To the other, an escape from inflation To lessen the pinch of economy To one an immersion in the coolness And serenity it portrays To the other, Having a nice time And wish you were here A sunset off a picture postcard Effecting two separate lives It certainly makes you wonder Which life gets the most benefit
