In Vain

This is my first attempt to write a Rictameter. I seen this done in Shaara port



In Vain

Tonight
I sit alone
Crying and feeling blue
You’ve left me for another
I realize you mean we are really through
Yet I find I can not believe
You would cause me such pain
But I still wait
In vain



A Rictameter is a 9 line poem.
1st line has 2 syllable
2nd line has 4 syllables
3rd line has 6 syllables
4th line has 8 syllablles
5th line has 10 syllables
6th line has 8 syllables
7th line has 6 syllables
8th line has 4 syllables
9th line has 2 syllables.
