Never has a thought counted so much for me.

It all began with a simple idea. An idea to make my Christmas less lonely; I started a forum entitled "A Christmas To Remember. The general gist of it was to get the members of the community to leave a posting as to their most memorable Christmas. Besides instilling a sense of community, it was selfishly going to be my visit with the only family I really had for this holiday, my Writing.Com Family. I would read every entry made on Christmas Day.

Sadly, it didn't get quite the participation I had hoped for even though I had highlighted it in my portfolio, had it on my billboard, sent out invites and sponsored the forum. It got 207 views, eight ratings and twenty one posts (six of them were mine).

Joe had written a story with me as the center of attention with characters from his series of stories. It took me three times to read the full item. Something about tears making it hard to read is a very true statement. Joe had made my Christmas a little less lonesome and there are no words I can say to him other than Thank you to show my appreciation and gratitude.

His caring made this truly A Christmas To Remember for me.

Happy New Years to all of my Writing Dot Com Family!
