The Pain has Lifted By: Tracey Criswell Wilson For years I have tried to hide pain inside of me. Wearing a false smile for the world to see a lie. Trying hard to stay away from others alone. My bed calls to me, crawl in forever and stay. How nice it would be, but it can't be so, not now. I must face the pain and let it all out, somehow. Write down what happened through out all my life, and read. Face what I'm hiding, inside for so long, to see. To open my eyes, will open my heart, release. It is very good to get it all out, freedom. Pain is easier facing it up front, than not. Talking about it really helps a lot for me. Now I'm happier, weight is now lifted off me. It feels good to laugh and really mean it, all smiles. 1/05/04
