A GAME

You can’t honestly say it wasn’t
Telling me your heart feels what it doesn’t
Now I am to believe your love is true?
Please forgive me for not trusting you

                   A GAME

And yet the harsh reality is this
                             It’s you I can’t help lovingly miss
What should I do, what do I think??
Your heart would surely fill my missing link

                                       A GAME

How do I know it’s not just another round?
The same words still have the same sound
Tell me dear, what have you really learned
Cuz Honey I learned it hurts to be burned

                                                                     A GAME

Just sincerely tell me another lie
And this time I promise not to die
How a pawn become a Queen,
By simply surviving all I’ve seen
