Today my son was diagnosed with autism.
My womb has housed
wide whales in oceans
wading
washed and swept ashore
and beached upon
this beach we’re on
for now and evermore.

My son is swallowed
whole by silence
spinning
inward, onward, o’er
and placed within
a place I’d been
but never known before.

My love is growing
exponential
tripling
infinite, and more…
your dad and me
and you makes three:
such magic to explore!
