My Baby Boy
Written when my youngest turned 18

Once you sat upon my knee,
So innocent and cute and wee.

Next I knew, you'd jump and run,
Thought going to the dump was fun!

Then you got to be a teen,
And sulked and balked and loved to preen.

And through these changes I did keep,
Within my mind and heart so deep,

This vision of my baby sweet...
In spite of your now size 12 feet.
