reason to live
my children

the
best
and most
beautiful
part of
who i am
is where
my babies
came to be.
small baby hands
and kisses
so wet and warm
and wonderful
so sweet.
hugs that take
your breath
away.
and fingers that touch
me with a
softness
my skin has
never
known before
and
eyes
that have known
all along
that
they would come to me
to love me
to give me
a reason
to live
long before
i knew it myself.
