Two Acrostics
Sadness in the sky and Cover me up with the tears of the sky By: Tracey Criswell Wilson Sadness in the Sky Sorry for all the lost love in the world. A blanket of caring I give to all. Don't turn your back on the suffering. Never leave without looking back. End unnecessary harshness. Share with others what you can. Single out someone in need. I'll always try to be there for you. Never leave you feeling alone. There's always hope if we look for it. Help is only a person away. Even in your darkest hour. Say a prayer for someone tonight. Keep a thankful and caring heart. Year after year, remember to always give thanks. Cover me up with the tears of the Sky Crawl beneath the covers. Outside, the thunder roars. Violently shaking the Earth. Ending nowhere in sight. Rain pouncing on your window, Making you pray for protection. Every cell in your body is scared. Under the blanket your skin crawls. Peeking to see if it's still bad outside. Weather is in its monstrous glory. Inching ever closer to you. Time for it to subside, you think. Hell on Earth is what you're going through. The rain is still pounding down. Hail drops from the sky. Earth is being rocked on its hinges. Tears are formed in your eyes. Ears are covered with your hands. All body parts are shaking. Really scared of storms, you are. Slow down your breathing, it's going to be okay. Off in the distance the thunder roars. Finally over; this storm that had you so scared. Time to crawl from underneath the bed. Heaven is shining again. Earth has quit rocking. Sky is blue again. Kinder now is the wind. You're safe once again.
