My Love
A frame is but a fence that holds your beauty in...

                             My Love

A frame is but a fence, that holds your beauty in
A gilded little wrap, made with golden tin
It sits upon my desk, like a tyrant in this place
And only let’s me see, a picture of your face
This bareness in my soul, longing to be filled
But the frost within my heart refuses to be stilled
And when the sap does rise, it should be no surprise
I’m charmed by the grace, I see within your eyes
