THINK SPRING!

In the midst of winter, do not mope;
With a little inspiration and a little hope,
You can brighten up the fields of white
With a Think Spring Party sure to delight!

We could start a brand new holiday,
No need to work, it's time to play -
No cabin fever for anyone who comes near;
We're busy spreading Springtime cheer!

First we'll decorate with silk spring flowers,
The rooms and halls; and with enough hours
We'll find the time to go for a little ride,
To spread plastic flowers over the countrside!

We'll start with a pancake breakfast first,
And orange juice to quench our thirst;
We'll play ring toss and dig out the hula hoop
(Now please don't be a "party poop"!)

For lunch we'll have strawberry shortcake,
And with bathing suits, go find a lake!
We can sit in the car with the heat turned on;
Before we know it, our gloom will be gone!

We'll make Spring bonnets with ribbons and paper;
Design new dresses using the Sunday paper -
And when dinnertime rolls around, you bet
That a picnic lunch is hard to forget!

Tomorrow we can look back on this and smile
'Cause it was Springtime for awhile;
And because it brought us so much cheer;
We'll have this holiday again - next year!
