Thanks Dr. Seuss! Quizmo LaGrande In my many long years, in my own simple time, I’ve always found ways to make the words rhyme. Blame it on Mother and dear Dr. Seuss Who’s writings she read me since very small youth. A spark and a fire she tried to ignite With never me knowing, much to her delight, That speaking in rhyme is not easy to do Unless you are silly and like to ensue A flavor of talking that’s been quite the rage Of youngsters and oldsters—turned many a page Of dear Dr. Seuss, the master of fun, And wisdom, and writing in poetry’s tongue! ~ * ~
