Daddy Passed Away 2/2/04

This is just a small bulletin to let you know that my dad passed away early this morning.

Even though he'd had Parkinson's for several years, his health seemed to be improving greatly, and we were looking forward to the day that we could bring him home from the nursing home for good.

We thought that he would be able to take enough by mouth again to eat at Frasier's Dairy Maid when it reopened in the spring, and we dreamed about him walking (with a walker, at least) and being able to use his hands the way he once did.

Our prayers for him were answered--but not in the way we would have chosen.

I've started a commentary I'll be adding to that will contain memories, information, and inspiration.
