MISSION EARTH –1

This is an alien's report on his/her (if they have different sexes) visit to earth, which has been translated into English. The alien landed on earth in India at the time of Diwali.
(Diwali is a festival celebrated in India. During this festival people light lamps through the house and explode different kind of crackers)



MISSION EARTH –1


This planet is spherical and is 70% covered with a colorless liquid whose composition is H2O. In between this liquid there are huge solid flat rocks, which seem to very thick. The planet is inhabited by different kinds of species, but the species, which seems to dominate over the rest, is a strange looking creature. It has a sphere on its top, a rectangle in middle that has a cylinder dangling on both sides of the rectangle and 2 cylinders below (this species will be referred to as cyndys in the remaining part of the report).
The dangling cylinders has 5 spokes which they seem to use to hold things and the lower two cylinders are used for help them move.
As my I.R. (Infra Red) shield suddenly developed some problems I decided to stay on the side of the planet that was not exposed to the nearest star. After hovering around for some time I decided to take a closer look at the activities taking place on the solid part of the planet. As I started to descend I spotted bright lights which were turning on and off at irregular intervals. I decided to investigate the source of the light. When I reached the spot I saw a number of cyndys gathered next to a number of small flickering lights kept on a long elevated platform. One of the cyndy was standing near this light holding a stick in his spoke like organs. All of a sudden small glowing particles started to fly out of the stick. The cyndy with the stick in his hand then moved toward a small cone kept on the ground and kept the glowing stick on it for some time and walked away, glowing particles started to fly out of the cone too. After a short duration both the stick and the cone stopped emitting the particles. Other cyndys were also doing similar things only difference being instead of a cone some were using a spiral object, which emitted particles in the radial direction. As I was watching this with amazement the noise sensors detected a sudden rise in the noise level near by which died after a short while, this happened for some times. To discover the source of the noise I used the sound tracking system and moved towards it. Here also groups of cyndys were gathered. One of the cyndy had a stick in his hand that was glowing at the tip. This cyndy moved towards something that was kept on the ground and placed the glowing stick on it for some time and moved away quickly. The thing kept on the ground also started to glow, which after a short while exploded again resulting in a rise n the noise level. Thus it was clear that it was this action of the cyndys that was causing the noise. I was still unable to explain the purpose of these actions the cyndys were performing again and again. Was it some kind of enjoyment or some defense mechanism (if yes then against what?).

I had just made up my mind to land in some secret place and investigate in detail that the alarm system started to buzz indicating an object approaching towards the ship. I was just able to move myself out of its path. At first I thought it was some kind of living form but was amazed when it went up a bit more and exploded. The cyndys were attacking the ship. I cannot explain how they spoted me even though I had my camouflage shield on. I was just recovering when the alarm system indicated one more missile heading towards me. The missiles were very weak. Their damaging capacity was even less because the second one exploded very near the ship but caused no damage. But I did not want to take any risk so I had to abort MISSION EARTH—1. I could not conduct much research on the planets atmosphere to determine whether it was suitable for us to inhabit or not.


Advice for future missions—
Carry Ammunition
Do not fly at low altitudes when cyndys are around, as our camouflage shield does not hide us from them.
