SWAT ME NOT! ** #810689 Not An Image ** I will not soon forget The dream I had last night; I dreamed that it was summertime And woke up with a fright! I dreamed that I had shrunk To a size smaller than a fly; My ears were filled with buzzing And I looked up at a wicked eye. A fly much bigger than a house Had grabbed my old flyswatter; It came at me as I stood there And the air was getting hotter! "Swat me not, you wicked fly! For when I'm big again; You'll wish you could fly away" Just like I was wishing then! Now I have bashed a fly or two, I really didn't think much of it; But from now on I'll think again Although I'll never "love" it. I may just "shoo" the fly away With as much grace as I can muster; 'Cause dreaming I was insect size Made me feel like General Custer! Countrymom 2/7/04
