Summer of Our Love
I rock singing In the hammock swinging Gently in the breeze. I smile listening To Mr. Kooka laughing In the three palm trees. I drift dreaming Watching the fish swimming In the small cool stream. I ride laughing Down the byway speeding In our car so pink. I sit sobbing And my heart is breaking For you’ve found someone new. I lay dying And my heart is crying To leave you much too soon.
