Sunset

Orange is loud,
Busy, and tiring
At the end of a long day.
Orange is a traffic jam on the way home.

Pink is sweet,
Slow, and lingering.
A long yawn.
Pink is a lover's goodnight embrace.

Purple is sleepy,
Hazy, and quiet.
A bedtime snack.
Purple is reading one last chapter before drifting off.

Blue is dark,
Dreamy, and numb.
Deep oblivion.
Blue is the Sun tucking his head under his pillow.

And then all is black...
