From an Angel's Perspective

INTRODUCTION

First, let’s get a few facts straight. We don’t have wings OK? No wings. No halos either. And don’t be so limited in your thinking please; we can also manifest in other than human form. Some of our most effective emissaries to your plane of existence have been other species. I'll bet that gives you a little pause when you think about all the bugs you’ve smushed in a lifetime. But I digress.

Actually there are no visible indications whatsoever that we are who we are. That’s the key word though, so pay attention - “visible.” Humans are so stuck focusing only on what is right in front of their noses and what they can see, touch and feel. There’s a whole other world swirling around you people. Wake up! Hello? That’s one of the main reasons you’re down there you know - to wake up.

I’m sorry. I tend to get a little carried away when I start thinking about all this, and it’s not in the least appropriate. Especially out of a supposedly enlightened being. I rant only out of caring and love though, please know that. I want so dearly for you all to figure it out.

The *big* persona, the energy on high, “God” we’ll call it to simplify things and because that seems to be the most widely used term, has requested a contribution in this form from me. I have been asked to write something that is going to be appropriately placed with someone on your plane. I had to laugh initially when the request came in. I mean poor God; how many different ways, and how many times, can the hints be dropped? You people are getting talked to constantly from our side of the fence one way or another, and so few of you choose to listen. But you’ve literally got forever to ultimately get it, and there are signs of increased interest, so we’ll keep up our side of the conversation for as long as it takes.

I’m always amused to see what the next tactic will be. This particular idea is to collect writings from different angels in which we share some of our perspective and experiences, then place them with someone who has the potential to get them some attention. Must admit curiosity over who will be the conduit for my ramblings. I hope they’re grounded, with a good sense of humor; they’ll need it.

Dialogue of this nature is always so vulnerable to suspicion, skepticism and ridicule. On the other hand, when handled properly, the recipient is often held in great esteem and nicely compensated materially. Apparently those actively searching for answers are out there in increasing numbers, and willing to pay for enlightenment. Which is silly people because that’s not necessary.

We watch in amazement as whole careers and fortunes are built on providing you with a truth that just “is”, and which is available to all, free of charge if you‘d simply start to look within. However, most people don’t. That’s reality and what must be worked with. And yes, we angels confess; we were guilty once too of not seeking the obvious in the easiest place. So we’ll try, try again to get through.

I have no explicit directions to follow here, so I’m not quite sure to what length I’ll be writing. I want to keep your attention first and foremost; that’s the only chance I’ll have of imparting anything of value. Let’s just say I’ll try to quit when I feel I’m ahead, regardless of how short or long this is. If I’m doing well in my story telling, you’ll hopefully desire I continue at greater length. If I’m not, well then, put this down and get on with your lives!

I suppose it might be prudent to give a little background on myself personally. I’m fairly new to this angel status actually, The preceding paragraphs gave a few clues if you were paying close attention. Veteran angels would never rant, even with the best of intentions. But I’m learning, and getting better daily.

By being an angel, I’m taking a break from repetitive incarnation. It’s a compliment that I’ve been allowed to do that. If you’re having a hard time picking up on the true nature of things, a little slow on the uptake, you tend to keep going back more often. Being granted angel status means you’ve been deemed enlightened enough to be of service to those still struggling along the path.

I won’t discuss how old a soul I am (yes Virginia, there most certainly *is* such a thing...and you’re it), or what sex; those facts are totally immaterial on this plane, and have no bearing on my intrinsic nature whatsoever. There’s a hint in that fact for you too. I’ll tell you the only thing that does bear testimony to my true self - Love. So simple; and yet such a hard concept for humanity to grasp. But I’m getting ahead of myself, and if I continue on that “hard to grasp” train of thought, I know I’ll start to rant again. What I can tell you is a little about my experiences walking in your mortal-plane shoes, prior to gaining my angel status.

I’ll have to give you a condensed synopsis of my past, simply because to go into detail would be impossible. I’ve been around the block, so to speak, quite a few times down there. I’ve been a butcher, a baker, a candle stick maker. No really, I have. I’ve also been a stand-up comedian. Recently. So forgive me if I tend to let the humor slide in occasionally; not only was that a fairly recent incarnation, it was also one of my favorites, and an outstanding source of enlightenment for me. We all need to learn to loosen up. But as I was saying, I’ve been men, as well as women, dirt poor and starving, as well as insanely rich and way too overfed. I’ve been deeply loved, and ridiculed unmercifully. I’ve been drop-dead gorgeous, and pitifully ugly. I’ve been a world-class athlete, and a leper. I’ve been a Buddhist monk, and an atheist. I’ve been a Roman Emperor, and a Gladiator. I’ve been a baby that died in childbirth, and I’ve lived to be 102. I’ve been a mustang stallion and an ant.

I could go on, but get the idea? Balance. There’s always balance. From each experience I learned different, valuable things. Of course I didn’t always know that I was learning at the time. But I kept getting second cracks at it until I figured things out. God is infinitely patient with us.

I sense the best way to proceed with this is to simply tell you some stories from my recent past lives; bits and pieces that I think will have some value for you. Retelling experiences that you can relate to now, as opposed to regaling you with tales from King Arthur’s Court, will be more helpful I think. There are reasons for every single thing that happens to us on earth. Now that I am no longer there, and knowing what I do now, perhaps my perspective will allow me to re-tell these experiences with an underlying appreciation for the truth that was behind them all along. And allow me to teach you something in the process.

I will decide which tales to tell here randomly. Don’t look for rhyme or reason in the order I choose to tell them in; there will be none. My experiences are too numerous and complicated to delve into too deeply; therefore I will let my passion, sense of humor, and of course love, be my guides in recalling the ones I do. Filtering with those attributes will not exclude any emotions or events, for learning to live with each as a foundation for everything I experienced, has helped me become what I am today.

THE FEEL OF A MUSTANG

As intrigued as I know you must be with the idea, I will only reflect on one of my incarnations as a different species. I have chosen this equine life as I feel it will be the easiest to write something about in a way you can understand; and for those of you open to it, there are valuable pieces of wisdom to be gathered in the short telling of this tale. Manifesting as anything other than human is, by its nature, extremely difficult to describe using language. We manifest as other species to learn three vital lessons that we sadly forget when we become human; to live in the moment, value your senses, and to realize that we are ultimately energetic beings.

My life as a wild mustang can only be described through adjectives and feelings that I remember. I cannot translate it into human thought and word patterns in a synchronistic way. I did not live a story that was linear with a beginning, middle and an end, as we do in our thinking mind lives. I simply *was*. I ran on my sturdy legs with the wind and my mares; I felt one with the dirt, grass and rocks beneath my hooves, and every tree I took refuge under. I was the senses I was born with. I knew when there was danger, I knew where there was food, I knew when it was time to procreate, I knew when it was time to be alert, and when to rest in peace. I knew because I was in constant communication with the energetic life force that surrounded me; I took it in with every breath, I felt it with every fiber of my being, and I shared it with every living thing around me.

In retrospect, I was fortunate to have lived this entire lifetime without coming into contact with a human being. Because of that, I was able to live my lifespan with the purity of my existence as a horse. I know now, that was a gift.
