Winter's Mind
A wintery lace enshrouds a pane lodged in a crimson door Lending inward view reluctantly of gloom but little more Intrusion be the only course, there's naught observed afar And hinges moan in deep distress as door is pulled ajar Beyond a trace of lifeblood's glow, a vault lies fast within Unseen, unfelt, untouched, unknown - a ghastly quiet den Secured within; no key without - a puzzle yet unsolved Rest reasoning and memories - a cardinal link dissolved A riddle then of more import by far than Jason's quest To breach the vault, a vital must to end this strange duress
