Alone
even the rocks feel like crumbling sometimes

This item has no ratings.
I am a cracked
and crumbling rock
thrust into the gale
by the weight of the world,
buffeted by wind and rain and ice,
shat upon and cursed;
an obstacle
cold, alone.
A little green life
to take root on me-
that’s all I ask.
