We Were Told... We were told about love, A journey ventured, and Rocking chairs on a porch. We envisioned the friendship, Accepted the reach for gold, Understood middle-aged struggle. We counted on the joy, holidays, Cakes, cookies and candy, Laughter that would be our reward. We then giggled under sheets... "A family," whispered Into the night. They told us about the love, But they never told us...about HER!! ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only **
