The Geese and the Willow
Nature's beauty is everywhere you look. The geese find their spot under the willow. |
![]() By: Tracey Criswell Wilson A Lilibonelle poem- the 2nd, 3rd and 4th line in the 1st stanza are used as the first line in the remaining stanzas. The day is so beautiful and breezy, the geese spread their wings under the sun. The willow's branches sway gently in the wind, and the water ripples quietly through the pond. The geese spread their wings under the sun, as nature wakes up with a bristling sound. The fish are jumping playfully in the water, as warmth covers the land, once again. The willow's branches sway gently in the wind, as its roots dig deeper into Mother Earth. The flowers open their petals with a yawn, while the butterflies fly all around. And the water ripples quietly through the pond, as a couple rows their boat slowly to Earth's melody. A woman lays out lazily to read a book, and the geese sleep quietly under the willow. 03/13/04 Awe' matee, ye found me pot of gold! ** Image ID #1367500 Unavailable ** |
