Daffodils The daffodils have open smiles That grin the whole way round. Their stems are straight but agile, As they shoot up from the ground. They sport orange cups as faces And wear clothing all the same. In a flash of color they take their place In sunshine yellow frames. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
