Even after all these years,
We still can't believe you're gone.
And all that's left to remind us
Are some words engraved in stone.

But our love, it never faltered,
For our mother, you'll always be,
And we know now that you're happy
And from this cold world you're free.

But Mother, there's so much more
That we would like to say.
If only we could have found time
Before the Lord took you away.

We're glad we could have known you,
Though it was only for awhile.
And when we often think of you,
Through our tears we'll find a smile.
