Silk and Sandbox

Through the trees a silken ribbon blows
Riding the current of a lonely forest's woes
Soaring, some say, above a strangling air
But drifting ever downward into its throes
To drape on the head of a boy, skin fair
Playing with his monsters and his G.I. Joes
Oblivious to the other army crawling there
Biting the big invader in his derriere
