Springs Playground Sprung The children burst forth Like flowers spring from the ground Renewed adventure Reveling on playground toys Spinning and reeling Merry-go-rounds riders’ spin On the games of ole` Shrill cries of joy revealing Seasonal transplants Their perennial nature Small children playing First buds of Spring displaying Answers earths warming With they’re annual swarming Running and jumping Teeter-totters, rise and fall Earths bounty springs new Balance natures sprouting joys Smiling faces sprout Brightly Colored pants and shirts Scatter Springs playgrounds.
