Mountains and lakes have graced my sight.
The scent of pines has whirled 'round me. My spirit steeped in sweet beauty As dense, emerald forests crowned me. Yet, before I discovered this heav'n, I had reigned as a noble king. Vermilion leaves swept o'er my throne And great, regal robins took wing. E'en after advent'rous journeys, No paradise could e'er replace My palace, my chateau, my home Where I'm held in love's warm embrace.
