Spirit of You
Another poem I wrote for school.

Some part of you
Still lingers here with me
You left a fire of pain
And it burns bright and free

Your soothing voice
Now flows with the breeze
It brings the rain
And I fall into this sleep

I'm crying out
Do you hear me?
I'm sinking
Will you save me?

You were never there
When I needed you
I want someone
I can turn to

Somehow you're still here
I wish you away
You haunt me
Let me live today
