Existence

By Angst

A baby is born

Tears of joy

Someone pronounced it existent

Butterfly floating around

Speeding car, harsh glass

The wind pronounced it non-existent

Buddha dwelling in a collective mind

Someone pronounced him existent

A man breathes his last breath

Tears of sorrow

Someone pronounced him non-existent

God dwelling in a collective mind

Someone pronounced him existent

A furrowed brow, a skeptical stare

Someone pronounced him non-existent
