Sorrow On that dark and lonesome morn When Sorrow strolled my way Like a prodigal leaving home He brushed the joy away He did not come to haggle Nor was I enamored by his clop For he sought to depose my faith With a modest little swap I cursed his sudden appearance For it threw me in disarray But O how much I grew When Sorrow walked my way I do not look for Sorrow His road I dare not trod But it was his gentle urging That drew me close to God ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Words required to be used by "Para/Poem Challenge "Open"" Haggle...Clop...Depose...Modest...Enamored...Prodigal
