Whenever I think of you

There were times when I've felt surrounded by doubt,
Or that my world was about to turn inside out.
Those troubles seem to stick to me like glue,
But they all fade away whenever I think of you.

I've always dwelled on the rejection and pain,
Which caused my self-confidence and emotions to wane.
I will always see the hurtful things that were true,
But they all fly away whenever I think of you.

I know things will come that will try to tear me down,
But when I say your name,that smile comes right out of the frown.
There will be times when I am feeling blue,
But those will be short lived whenever I think of you.

The way you laugh,your infectious smile,
Anytime with you is always worth my while.
I know this feeling will never come to an end,
Because this angel was from God,my very best friend.
