Impossible
No words--no way It can't be real This dreadful thought That second line A pre-made decision, that's wrong It can't be real But we were prepared, remember? We always had a plan For the impossible mission My heart won't accept it My head knows I can't keep it There must be another explanation. I met his blank stare The impossible truth Hammered my doubt Life changes everything Conscientiousness tears relationships Away from honesty To a room full of halogen lights That can't reveal all the agony Chained down by novacaine So all that's impossible is fear And the truth is aborted.
